Juliet celebrates the beauty and moods of New Zealand’s coastlines and landscapes with her beautifully layered artwork.
Her paintings include strong horizon lines, highly textured landscapes, and lots of luxuriously illuminating gold-leaf. Her work is often elegantly float framed.
Juliet is the co-owner of the stunning sea-side Shelly Bay Gallery and Studio in Wellington.
Her tapa cloth and gold leaf painting is featured in the Museum Art Hotel NZ Artists Walk for permanent public display.
She was the 2019 guest artist and speaker at the annual charity Champions Lunchheld at Te Papa.
She is the 2018 / 2019 Artist in Residence for the Life Flight Rescue Helicopter – Life Flight Wellington.
Juliet loves her work as a New Zealand artist, she loves her family and friends, and is strongly involved in her community.
Juliet and her family walked the Abel Tasman track earlier this year, and the summer prior she and her son rode horses for a few days into the South Island mountains up to the alpine meadows, fording many rivers and mountain streams. She is so often inspired by New Zealand’s beauty and geographic history and loves hearing a good local story!
