METcALfe (pronounced Metal Metcalfe) is the combination of sister’s AmyLynch and Katie Baptiste. Their artworks combine Katie’s pattern & stylisedillustration with Amy’s product & metal know-how. 

They have worked as designers for companies such as Danske Mobler,JaguarLandrover, David Trubridge and Bentley Motors within the UK, Europe, USAand New Zealand.

Having shared the kitchen table making things from a young age, theyspent most of their creative careers to date working in different hemispheres,it is only in the last few years that they now both live here in New Zealandand can share the kitchen table again! Only now they have a larger workshop inwhich to make their playful artworks.

Each piece is designed, hand cut & welded by them. They ensure thatplay, experimentation and having fun in making their artworks is at the core oftheir work.

In the time they have been working together ‘officially’ they have seengreat success and appetite for their approach and works.
