Peter spent many fond childhood moments in his dad's workshop building all sorts of gadgets and fixing cars. During thoseearly years he developed a love for classic cars. 

After finishing high school he went on to obtain a trade certificate where he finished in the top of his class. Steel became hismaterial of choice to work with.

In his early twenties, Peter headed overseas spending several years living in London and Vancouver and traveled the world. 

Peter has always been interested in design, however as an engineer tended to apply his skills for practical purposes. He taught himself how to create technical drawings on CAD. Increasingly his work evolved into design instead of solely fabrication. 

Peter's structural artwork has broad appeal. He produces indoor and outdoor pieces using his expert welding skills. He invests in quality materials so his art will stand the test of time. 

When not in his workshop or doing school runs, you will find Peter enjoying the outdoors. In his free time you will find him cycling the Te Awa cycle way. He also enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding and fishing.
