This painting of Hahei is not the  part of the beach I usually go to. It was a commission of the tractors so I wandered down the path towards the staircase to get the feel of it . 

Before I was even half way there I was struck by the beauty and bounty of this particular pohutukawa in full bloom.

 Blue sky’s, fresh seas in contrast to the crimson flowers.

Absolutely stunning and in my own backyard.
